Red Dead Redemption is an action adventure game made by Rockstar... the same guys who made GTA..
The game is an open world type of game with free roaming... And it takes place in the wild west
Its just like GTA but you are playing in 1911 ;p
If you like open world games and the wild west style (cowbows horses) then this game is for you !
The trophies in this game arent that hard to achieve... just time consuming

A good game but has many bugs and glitches..And i hate the fact that it sometimes takes 6 bullets from a rifle to kill someone ~_~...
How did this game get game of the year is beyond me... noob reviewers ;p

The offline would take you about 30 hours and online would take you 30 too (lvl 50)
When u start off make sure u never switch your horse for about 20 missions or else you will miss this trophy...
Focus on completing the game and then start cleaning up whats left.. and work your way towards the 100% trophy..
Also for the 500 mount gun farm it at El presido online
Once your done with offline hop online and do some of the online related trophies (leave the lvl 50 out )
once you have done the online part and only got the lvl 50 trophy left...
Delete you game data and play it offline so you get more exp... (the patch nerfed the exp)
go to single player then pres start>multiplayer>lan and farm solomon folly till you get to level 50

- You need to catch all 20 bounties
- You need to work 5 different jobs
Once you do all of these you should get the trophy !

ReplyDeleteI disagree about the review - it is definitely one of the best games of the year and it deservedly got the award.
Yes, you have to have some liking of the Western genre but not much. It's the breadth and depth by which you can throw yourself into the game, the characters, dialogue and music - everything is done to detail and is top class.
I played online for about 1/2 an hr and gave in, it was kinda rubbish but otherwise a game I would ask everyone to try and play.

this is what happens
1st shot takes his hats off.. 2nd shot throws him to the floor.. 3rd shot dis arms him 4th shot makes him fall on the floor again.. 5th shot disarms him AGAIN and 6th shot kils him...
on average its 3 shots per kil and sometimes 2..
i just dont understand the mechanism of the "how many shots" to kil ;x
its a great game but not that great to receive that sort of hype ;p
i know it takes 5 shots for me to kill enemies most time's but always aim for the head if you shoot them in other body places you will simply injure them Dead Eye helps to take out mutiple enemies at once also make sure you're not shotting your enemy through a fence otherwise your shot won't hit you're target... small revolvers are good for small-range targets or targets which are in sight Shotguns are good for long-range targets and snipers are usefull for taking out enemies from rooftops
