The style of the game is unique and its not like any other shooter...Its fast and its deadly !

This game Consists of 51 trophies which vary between easy medium and very hard..
The trophies come in many aspects.. completing the story..killing in a certain style and collecting.. So its better to read them before you playing.
Start the game on hard and try to collect everything by using a video guide that can be found on youtube..Also keep in mind that there is a trophy for not dying !.. So when you die just pick "quit" instead of continue and you should be safe...you could do this on easy of course... but why play twice? ;x... The game wont be as easy as other titles you have played.. so expect a challenge !
After completing the game its time for the hellish part which makes this game an 8.5+ or even a 9.5+ on the platinum difficulty scale !
There are 6 challenges in total
Most of them are not that bad... But challenge 6 is on par with some challenges in ninja gaiden sigma 2 !
Since the game is very fast paced.. YOU have to make absolutely 0 MISTAKES !! YOU have to be in full focus mode and dont expect to finish this on your 1st try or 10th try... it took me well over 20 hours to get it done..YES its THAT HARD !!
I cannot give you an entire guide on the challenges because that will take 2 pages of text ;p + so its better if you visit a trophy website of your choice and follow the guide or checkout youtube...
A combination of a well written guide + youtube + some patience and you should do it !
The hardest trophies would be:
Complete all Acts on Hard difficulty or above
Try to take it slow... dont worry about the score or time.. it doesnt matter
Always use cover and dont rush....
Make use of your EMPS and cigars
And finnaly your suit.. make good use of the ARS by slowing down time and make sure you dont drain it !
Tactical Challenger
Complete all of the Tactical Challenges in VANQUISH
There are 6 challenges in total.. (1 hidden and will unlock after 5)
The only tips i can give you is youtube+guide+discussion on forums...
Some tips:
Dodge heavy atacks using L2+X
EMP+cigars..use them when u are in trouble
Always watch your radar for enemy movements near by and red dots mean high priority targets
My TIP for Ch6 W5:
Kill all the balls 1st asap while dodging the 2 bogeys (red+blue)..once they are done try to focus on the blue bogey 1st and hammer him with the rocket launcher and then the lock on laser weapon...keep in mind.. 1 MISTAKE = gameover..its just like playing NGS2 you need to focus and you need to be calm...anyways
once the blue bogey is dead... pick up his weapon(rocket launcher)..This is why i told you to kill blue 1st...
Once its 1on1 with the red bogey then it shouldnt be that hard... just take your time and keep hitting him make sure to always use L2+X for some of the attacks..also just a note.. the red bogey goes crazy at 20~30% hp.. he will be very hard to hit...
And again... if you are having a hard time on this... checkout youtube or forums...
Here is a video of CH6 just to take an idea or a tip maybe...
I used a diffrent strategy with weapons on the last boss (laser+rocket) only..

ReplyDeleteChallenge 6 isn't as hard as NGS2 of course. UN01 liz is as random as those bogeys, since you can predict their attacks, by hearing what they say.
ReplyDeleteCongratz on your platinum tho, since in NGS2 you can use Rachel's exploit to finish UN01/02.
On challenge 6 is pure skill. I finished both, NGS2 and Vanquish, so I know what I'm talking about.
